December 2014 Newsletter

Our new canteen is now officially open and the children will be eating their meals in it by the time you read this letter. There are still jobs to be finished, but it is safe and ready for use. We hope to have an official opening in the New Year.

Welcome back to the second half-term of the new academic year. We have
devised new homework systems which encompass the empowering learning
targets giving a little more direction whilst still allowing children an element of
choice and creative thinking.

Preparations are underway for the demolition and building of our new canteen. Work will start on the 14th July to remove the contents of the building.

Thank you for your attendance at the parent consultation evenings. Discussion, sharing of information and support for your child's learning is a three way process between you, your child and your child's class teacher. As mentioned in the last newsletter, please come and see us if you have queries or have a change of circumstance which may affect your child in school.
