The Bilton School Day
Morning
The doors are open for a 10 minute window each morning. When your child arrives in school they should make their way through the door, put their things on their peg and make their way to the classroom, where their teacher will be waiting for them. If you arrive after the doors have closed please enter school by the main reception door where Mrs Miller will mark your child as present on the register.
EYFS
Doors open at 8.45am and close at 8.55am. The school day starts at 8.50am.
Years 1-6
Doors open at 8.40am and close at 8.50am. The school day starts at 8.45am.
Morning break
All children have a 15 minute break in the morning. Times vary between key stages. Bilton Grange Primary school takes part in the ‘School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme’ and all children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 will be provided with a piece of fruit or vegetable at morning break.
Lunch break
All children have their lunch break between 12pm and 1pm each day.
Home time
EYFS
Children are collected from their classrooms at 3.10pm.
Years 1 - 6
Children are collected from their allocated entrance at 3.15pm. If your child is in year 5 or 6 and you wish to allow them to walk home by themselves, please complete and sign a walking home consent form and hand in to their class teachers. They cannot walk home by themselves without this consent form.
