My name is Mrs Anna Baldini.
I have been teaching at Bilton Grange since 2003 working in Year 3/4 and have been Lower Junior leader for a number of years. In 2020 I took on the role of Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) following the completion of the National SENCO award.
I have a long standing interest in working with young people with Special Educational Needs, working with young adults with additional needs before completing my Psychology degree and then qualifying as a teacher. I have worked with children and young adults with additional needs as a Special Needs assistant in a range of settings including primary, secondary and post 16 education before joining the Bilton Grange team.
We can provide better support for the children in our care when we work closely with parents, as you are the ones who know your children best. Any changes or concerns about your child’s needs should be discussed with their class teacher in the first instance, however, I am always happy to offer my support where needed. If your child is added to our Special Needs register, then I will be more regularly involved in their support in school.
If you have concerns regarding your child, or would like to speak to me about the support that we can offer, please feel free to contact me by phone or email through the school office or directly to me using my SENCO email address senco@ycatschools.co.uk .
